This is the problem. Why is the highlight always on the negative with our community? There is plenty of good that could be the focus but instead here is the let's address our issues in front of everyone so that we are the focus of yet more negative stereotypes. They take everything we say and group us together and use it against up. Its really the lack of positive support that is the real issue.

💯 I feel the same. I have 3 adult sons and I was just telling them how other races literally build together and move in and take over neighborhoods together, yet we don't trust our black neighbors to look out for us it's so sad

Some of us are addressing these topics and helping to course correct within the community. I mentor young women on various topics. It's hard to bring it to social media due to scrutiny & bullying.

As a collective, absolutely. We avoid addressing issues and mastering our own footprint but then turn around and laugh at how “unserious” we are. We are ALREADY chef’s kiss, imagine how much better we really could be. But we’re too involved in 50/50, gender wars, colorism, scamming, and red pill content. 🤦🏾♀️
