Exactly we don’t care for the warranty. The manufacturer give me warranty plus won’t over charger me on parts

Because they mark up the parts. They will say because u may get wrong part. Or for warranty. But they get em from same places

Lol any mechanic that is not the dealer uses aftermarket part even dealer use some aftermarket parts lol 😂 I have seen it boxes of aftermarket rotors in the dealership parts department lol

A mechanic’s warranty doesn’t mean nothing to me. They didn’t manufacture the parts and will most likely, point the blame elsewhere when it comes down to a failure. 💁🏻♀️

The reason I do it is because I don’t want to pay the extra 3-7% added to the part because mechanic purchased it . After mechanic gets a discount on the part itself. That’s just me…

Some people can't afford OEM parts. Maybe the cars not worth it. Of course you don't warranty the part but the labor you do. It's about making a living.

there are many cases where the person buys the wrong part.Some people ruin it for everyone. If it really bothers you find another mechanic or do it yourself.

I don't have a car I have an enclosed mobility scooter which isn't always in the forte of a mechanic but I have a really awesome mechanic that lives by me who's willing to work on it as long as I get the parts but the best part is I always tell them they're coming from the factory because that's literally where they're all coming from they're never preused they're always in the box when I take him the parts so he can see that they're literally factory sealed my enclosed Mobility suitor is the equivalent of a golf cart mixed with a moped mixed with Mobility equipment. he's my ride or die and he's gotten a lot of money for me to help me repair my stuff over the past 2yrs ❤️
