Solz you went to college to not understand basic business ? You can not increase you expenses if you’re not making enough revenue, that just leads to a loss in profit, which the wnba is already doing. Until that revenue is high enough to were the expenses can be increased and they still see profit, those players are not getting payed more.

Stop acting like it’s so simple to just “pay them more.” The players aren’t the only ones that get a check 🤦🏽♂️The janitors, technicians, cashiers, ambassadors, as well as the coaches, assistant coaches, bus drivers, equipment managers, medical staff, media personnel, the owner of the league itself, they all need to be paid and they can’t if players were to get NBA level checks without NBA level revenue

The issue you forget to bring up is the fact that PROFIT IS BASED ON REVENUE. Therefore pay is based on REVENUE. the formula for profit is literally REVENUE - cost of good. In order to be profitable. You have to hold ensure that you are keeping higher revenue

the wnba make 400 million the nba take back 50%off the top because it their investment so they need there payment of investment back then the other investors need their payment back so now the actual income of the wnba is like 150 mill to which they have operational cost cost them lest say 150 mill but then they 50 to the players but now the players want more where is it coming from??? 🤔🤔
