Idk if this makes sense but the fact the circle isn’t straight could symbolise that whoever is shooting dose’nt actually want to and is shaking hence the not so accurate circle which could overall be a metaphor for how even people who hated their childhood still somewhat long for it

what makes it even worse is that that isnt even the vest place to shoot a deer, if you shoot a deer in the head, it could miss and cause terrible scarring. its seen as unethical to shoot a deer there, and that makes this art even more impactful due to the metaphor. whoever killed the innocence of the "deer" did it with the intent to hurt, forever scarring the "deer"

I love the fact that there is some kind of imperfection in the circle and the way the color seems to run down, especially on the leg [happy] and idk why but the way people comment on this piece is also perfect (they are all paid actors) bc in some way not only the innocence dies but also the perfection people try to hold on to, they deny the imperfections or rather try to blame it on the victim [cry][cry]
