my dad's been using firefox since I was little and he had it on his pc, I've tried so many browsers since, but ended up coming back to firefox because it's truly better than all of the others

Edge has this and a bunch of other great features like "drop files to phone", immersive reader, read aloud, etc. I swapped from Chrome to Edge years ago and it's worth checking out.

try zen browser. is based on Firefox and with for lil changes you can even make folders tab

I've tried probably every major browser over the last couple of month and honestly I can't get excited about Firefox or anything based in it. I get it, I understand the need to have Firefox around and support them up in Windows at least they are just not as good as chromium based browsers. I've tried Firefox, waterfowl, Librewolf, florp and zen and all them have issues, some more then others (FLORP! sort your UI out ffs, it's a mess) and all of them are consistently outperformed by chromium browsers. I've not found anything I want to do in Firefox that I can't do with anything else, including vertical tabs which edge has had for at least 4 years and I'm sure vivaldi had them for at least that long again.
