NO WAY! My son was also sick from birth, losing weight, lethargic, etc. FINALLY, he was diagnosed w/ pyloric stenosis @ 7 was. He was on deaths doorstep…He was life flighted to a specialized hospital where it took 2 days to make sure he was strong enough for surgery. All the while, my life was crumbling around me. I know that pain. I remember that fear. It stays with you forever! But, look at us now! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

is your son still doing well? we went through something similar and it took YEARS to find our answer like from age 3 to 6.5 turns out he had rumination syndrome. he would throw up a minimum of 6 times a day and go back to playing. after finding out what it was we were able to start diaphragmatic breathing techniques and he has not had a bad flair up in almost 2 years!

Mine was 111 day nicu stay for 24 wk twins, my survivor is 11 now! (His twin lived 19 days) Hospital life is wild. Thanks for sharing pieces of your story 🫶🏻

My brother was the eleventh child in Canada to have this surgery in 1948 he is 77 now he was in hospital at sick kids in Toronto for ten days. His son had the same condition and went home the same day he is 45.

I went through the same thing with my son. He was born so tiny and had surgery at a month old. It’s very traumatic to go through. I was told there was a high chance he wouldn’t make it through surgery but thank god he did. So glad your son is doing better now. 💜

My oldest daughter had pyloric stenosis as well and surgery at 29 days old. It was a week at the dr saying flu but it could be this other thing but it’s so uncommon in girls etc etc then rushed to ER and emergency surgery. She is now 36. ❤️❤️

My husband had pyloric stenosis when he was a baby too he turns 39 next week. I heard stories of how scary it was for them, I can’t imagine as a parent how scared. 🖤

I had pyloric stenosis and gastroparesis! I’m a thriving 28 year old, was an athlete all through high school and worked for 12 years in the medical field, just now going back to school for my paralegal. Lots of love to your family and future ❤️❤️🩹
