The camps are much cheaper when you have the camp van we spe$3000 for 2 with flights and campvan flights and trip around the ring road

Girl- skip the hostels. You can sleep on the back of your car on campground. Your rental car place most likely rents out sleeping bags and pillows.

Have the best time ever! I did the entire Ring Rd back in 2022 in a campervan. One of my top trips. Also $1600 is amazing for 7 days.

Also- skip both the lagoons near the capital - the one in Vik is one of the top two in the country. Go there. Husavik has an amazing view of the fjord and the ocean, but if you don’t go that far north you won’t be there.

We did the entire ring road and we loved it. Swing by Costco if you have a card-(also can rent a cooler from car rental places) and you can live off sandwiches! The gas is the catch. 284 US in conversion a tank.
