He was my friend who put on a “mask” and I was going through a hard divorce. I asked strong but I needed him as a support to be strong. Then being in the relationship he took his mask off and found out years later he’s a narcissist.

Yep whenever I’ve looked into the girls he cheated with and found out what they do for work it always makes sense. They all have a useful purpose for him and that’s all. If he has no use for you, he will discard you.

I think they’re attracted to a certain kind of emotional strength that they don’t have. Although those they are attracted to are sometimes missing what they need to get away.

The realization of this is confusing me. Why? I never looked at myself as powerful and put together. Looking back though I can see how much confidence I had. I was comfortable in my own skin and I was happy. When he died I was a husk of what I was before dating him. Two years later I still struggle.

Thank you for saying this I kind of really needed to hear it right now…🥰❤️I’m going through a lot right now we lost my dad on my mom’s birthday a week before my birthday… and I don’t know why, but knowing that he was only attracted to me because I’m strong definitely perked me up a bit…😢❤️

All but one girl my ex has been with aside from me has been actually off their rocker. In talking assault charges, multiple baby daddies, jail time, etc…. So idk haha
