We had to call someone out not too long ago as I couldn’t get the filter open. Turns out neither could the appliance technician, he had to dismantle the whole machine. Colour catchers were all built up inside. Now we just use mesh bags for our colour catchers 🫣🫣

this why I love my Samsung washing machine as it a tube to help tube to help drain the water out so I never have to worry about flooding my kitchen when I have empty water from washing machine think all machine should do it

I use my carpet cleaner hose to soak up all the water when opening the washing machine filter 😂

I will admit when I was younger, I was the reasons the filter got blocked.most of the time because I often accidentally left hair grips in my pockets or like pinned to the edge of my clothes if that makes sense. you know when you are just like out and about and like trying to do your hair whilst walking but you don't wanna hold the grips in your mouth so you like slide the grip onto like a pocket or a sleeve cuff or bottom hem of your top or something until you need it? sometimes I would forget it was there and it would block the filter. I have learned my lesson. I don't do it any more.

I had the same machine as you it wasn't even 2 years old and just had to skip it as it was leaking everywhere...all underneath was rusty😩

We had a bathroom mat completely clog it up and jam it somehow never pulled that error up it just kept trying to drain

Mine had this problem repeatedly, it worked again but the would go back to the F05 error. Had parts replaced and still didn’t work. Hopefully it was that thing stuck in the filter.

we have a thing called wetroom, where its waterproof and safe to just let water flow on the floor and into the drain. usually it is toilet or bathroom. obviously dont use washer while showering etc. but dont have to worry about flooding my house😅

my hotpoint machine had the same problem I kept having to empty it after every wash 🙈 I ended up buying a Samsung machine as hotpoint is known for this

I flooded my whole kitchen because of my washing machine once 😭 it was the day we got a new one too. I was in about an inch of water lol would of thought I was at the swimmers hahah x
