one of mine likes to come in my room but doesn't want the door closed but I want the door closed so he meows to come in, I let him in and close the door then lay down then he immediately meows at the door and I say I'm not getting up again right now, he goes into destruction mode until I open the door for him.

Start by throwing treats on the floor every time you stop loving on them so they associate you walking away/doing something else it’ll train them to not immediately find something to destroy

My ex’s orange cat did that. We literally had to use planned ignoring to get him to stop and put him on a sensory diet he played with the water faucet for an hour a day

My one cat Levi is always moaning at people to give him food. I give my cats food in the morning and the evening, but Levi likes to try and trick everyone into giving him more food. So I have to tell people to not give him food because he has already been fed.
