a passenger was thrown off the top deck. a 19 y/o woman, 20s man and 40s man are in hospital with serious injuries but are stable. 50s driver has been arrested for causing serious injury by careless driving but has been bailed pending further enquiries. 17 other passengers treated at the scene for non life threatening or life changing injuries. he was not on his usual route. source: bbc

The height of the bridge should be signed so driver should have known not to go under it should have been aware of his bus height and stopped. No excuse here council for sending the bus on that route and driver not stopping both accountable for injuries etc
