From what I've gathered...This woman had an MRI appointment, MRI tech went to get husband to have him help wife off MRI table, he was wearing a large chain and that is what pulled him in. A few points need to be made here...1. MRI machines are located behind heavily restricted zones, husband would've crossed multiple restricted zones 2. MRI tech shouldn't have let him cross those zones to help her off the table, the tech should've been the one to help her 3. they go through a LONG list of questions regarding metal before allowing someone into the MRI room the tech should've NEVER let husband go in that room with that chain bc the magnet is never fully off......This is honestly on the MRI tech... although he shouldn't have worn his chain bc there is usually signs/various warnings about metal...the MRI tech is responsible for making sure people understand NO METAL and verifying there is no noticeable metal on anyone going in the MRI room.

HOW was he able to barge in?? An MRI machine is located in zone 4, which is only accesible through zone 3. Zone 3 is highly restricted to allow only medical personal and pre-screened patients undergoing the MRI, it’s only accessible by authorized keycards or door code…. WHY WAS HE ALLOWED IN THERE???

He had no no right in that room there are 4 areas in an MRI room none staff are only allowed in area 1 then the doors close for area 2 for searching and taking off any materials he had no right to be in area 3 and 4 the staff should have made sure he was not even in area 2

I am so Sorry for You.. what a traumatic experience to go thru.. why would they let him in the room without screening for metal he could have had a metal joint replacement or anything.. it’s horrific.. so glad he waved good bye to you.. bless you both xxoo
