I feel like we need more parenthood content by leftists in general. Conservatives don't own family life. Even as someone who wants kids, I feel like the only content I see is conservative parents or child free leftists. I'd love to see leftist parents be louder and more visible online.

hey all! i am a mom, head start teacher, and run a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue. While im not necessarily blogging about my children to respect their privacy, I do show how my family is involved with helping rescue animals. My husband and I were born very poor and worked crazy hard for what we have now and our kids, because of my rescue I have all of those things, but im not a sahm bc we can’t afford it lol

I would go even farther. We need more leftist vloggers in general. How the wellness to alt-right pipeline exists, we need a wellness to far left pipeline. “I would love to live a soft life, but capitalism”. “How soft life goals radicalized me”. Lifestyle content in general NEEDS a counter narrative movement right now, because it’s become an echo chamber and a pipeline to fascist ideology.

I can't afford to work and send my kids to daycare but I also don't trust sending them to public schools anymore unfortunately. I feel like kids are rushed to learn at everyone else's pace and those with learning differences fall behind. I'm lucky enough to have the education to homeschool. there's also the caveat that working moms are the parent who typically stays home when the kids get sick. when I was working and my oldest (& only at the time) was in daycare, I missed a TON of work with him getting sick all the time. most jobs won't allow you to take all of those days and it's also just awful for morale to not be able to use your PTO for yourself and have to use it all for your child's sick days.

ME!! Me!! I made a video about how my husbands job doesn’t provide health care even tho he works 60 hours a week and all the comments said it was my fault for being pregnant and that I shouldn’t have kids! Like I’m the issue and not the fact that we are the only developed nation without access to affordable health care??
