guide lower and it looks to me that your tension might be a bit loose. I used to make bandsaw blades and that's why you don't make bimetal blades with Chinese steel. I recommend getting a blade made with American or German steel cut quality is much better and they last longer.

Yes the spend for more money. But you will get better results. The data higher power. I don't say to follow with me. Granger flights that you get from home depot, or Lowes not designed to cut metal

Get that blade guide down on the work, where it’s supposed to be! That will improve the cutting speed!

Definitely going to want to introduce cutting fluid/oil as well. You’ll burn through blades otherwise.

Doesn’t it seem slow to y’all? But does look low, maybe affecting the tension?

Use cutting oil, slow the blade speed and bring the guides down.

I always get blades that will cut SS. I know people say use cutting oil but believe me unless you clean the saw every time you cut it will just make a mess of the drive wheel and idle wheel, spring tensioner. Let the machine do the work and never push to hard and it will work perfectly. If you ever cut aluminum in it the SS blade may clog up but as long as you go slow it will work perfect. Ps I have 25+ years in a machine/sheet metal shop. Take care of your machines and they will take care of you!

And when cutting material that thin you need a 10/12 tooth blade

if you can either lower blade guide or raise table it will lessen the flex in your blade.
