Affordable housing is nothing terrible all it is is people who graduate college and start with jobs in the 30s 40s and 50s. It could be a divorced mom who hasn’t worked in 15 years and is back in the workforce and all she’s making is $45,000 a year $55,000 a year it’s just based on income. These are not section 8 houses where people live off government assistance and I don’t know why people put them down. You must have excellent credit to buy one. you must have a down payment, a title search the same as any property now there are rental units for people who like friends of mine. I know children who graduated college and are becoming teachers, and their salary is not a lot, but they wanna own a condo or they want to rent an apartment according to their income and yet people think like trash is moving in. I could see you not wanting section 8, but when you talk about the affordable care act, it gives people an opportunity to own a piece of real estate in the state of New Jersey who chose jobs like a teacher a cop, a psychologist someone who works for the state these jobs. Do not make a lot of money.What is wrong with everybody and trying to fight it they’ve gotta go somewhere.

I believe the affordable housing for each town used to be able to be “sold off” to other towns that could handle it with space. This is mandate is horrible. Some towns are already overdeveloped and these mandates are just making it worse for residents. I know NJ is becoming more unaffordable, but realistically, a few hundred units in each town isn’t going to do anything. It’s so sad
