Recently I've been feeling this intense loneliness into not being included in plans that friends have made, despite my efforts of asking to be included. So, last Thursday after my overnight shift I drove myself to IHOP at like 7 in the morning. I cried in the car because I felt so pathetic in not having anyone to do anything with. But, after my cry I went in and had a damn good breakfast. Afterwards, I took myself out to see Superman—a movie I was looking forward to for years. I was supposed to go with friends but schedules didn't align and they went without me and couldn't "find the time" to reschedule. So, I cried in the car again at 9:15 and went in and bought myself a ticket. The theater was completely empty, it was odd only seeing one person working and no one in the seats, but it was peaceful in a way. I got to see a damn good movie in a theater all to myself. And it's because I gave myself permission to feel those hard feelings and then choose to go and do what I wanted to do anyway. It's hard being lonely, but it's worse to deprive yourself of what brings you joy because of it. Thank you for this video, Zurkie, I look forward to what life has in store to you and I 🙂↕️🤞

When I was younger, I thought I was supposed to feel happy all the time. And when I wasn’t I thought something was wrong with me, and I got in a pretty bad mental state. Realizing I had permission to feel “bad” helped me a lot. Amazing vid as always Zurkie, thanks👍❤️
