@elementalarchetypes: Heeeey, CPTSD cuties! 😘 Learning to create boundaries has been the BIGGEST awakening in my perimenopausal journey. I’ve learned that my boundary challenges stems from a trauma response as a CPTSD survivor. I’ve learned that over-explaining myself is exhausting. Especially to people who are not in a place to have a conversation. They’ve already made up their minds and I’m not going to change it. Instead of fighting to be understood, I’m learning to just walk away. Their opinion of me doesn’t matter because Ive cultivated a deep sense of self-worth. This transition into menopause is sacred time and we get to decided how we want to age. For me, I want to grow old with a sense of peace and ease. Life is short. I’m tired. Just let me be. 😂 #perimenopause #womenover40 #cptsdsurvivor #boundariesarehealthy #selfgrowthjourney
I feel like finally in my 40s I'm fine with just cut even long time friends off that are toxic. I'm done. I guess it takes time to get there for some of us

I’m at same place. I used to update ppl on my life thinking I was connecting…but realizing that people sometimes just want to know my info without any care to truly understand me or have connection. So now I try to just write about it and process it on my own.

Dude yes! “Discernment” that’s what’s more important than anything because then you can guard your energy and stop blocking your gifts 🎁 I’m still working on that, but I an doing things like acknowledging blind spots and asking for forgiveness when I need to.
