Full time nanny here $35-40/hr I clean, do laundry, etc… having a nanny is a luxury. A babysitter isn’t the same as a nanny.

I pay my nanny $38/hour (two kids). I pay my housecleaner $34/hour. I pay my landscaper $75/week. My landscaper also doesn't clean the house... because I have a housecleaner. Hope this helps.

Sounds like youre out of touch. I was a Nanny for a summer, never was asked to clean aside from the messes i or the child made throughout the day. If you did something when you were a Nanny then thats on you, thats not a requirement.

I’m a nanny and I make close to that for working with a baby (they have 3 kids). I do light cleaning and every task related to baby (laundry, dishes, tidy) but I’m not expected to clean every day bc they have 3 and the messes are never ending. Before this fam I did my best to completely clean every day. Rates are defs going up because of cost of living!

I get $32, I am cps certified, I’m a certified nurses aid, I’m a licensed foster parent. I live in one of the most expensive counties in the country. I will do very light housework if needed have time, dishes, vacuum, fold children’s clothing. I always clean up after any mess the children & I made. Housecleaning in my country is $50 an hour so I’m not going to clean bathrooms, mop etc.

I tell my nanny, because my house is spotless to please keep the house the way we left it. Make the kids clean up after their toys and whatever mess they make. I pay her 32 dollars an hour.
