I believe the key is for all of us to stop being loyal to ANY brand. Always take the cheapest flight. Always take non-stop flight. Always buy only a one-way ticket. If you need to take a cheapest positioning flight, do it. If its cheaper to return on another aitline, do it. Show the airlines exactly how little each of them matters, and that we'll gladly replace one with another. Its just business, there is no "loyalty" in business. If everyone does this, Delta will stop believing people will chose to fly Delta no matter how much it charges us.
