For starters I’ve worked side by side with some engineers. I can do their job and choose not to. I’ve helped create some of the repair procedures on their products. I have plenty of tools and plenty of problem solving skills. So don’t lump us all together.

4th option: those have a 14mm hex on the other side of the tensioner that’s easier to get to

You use an open end wrench on that tensioner. The square head on the tensioner will hold a wrench

I can confirm not all engineers could do our job, my mate was an engineer at bmw and i still had to repair his shit. 😂

Spare me on the engineer boost. Replace the engine mounts on an 01 S10. Pull the engine or drop the entire 4WD front end.
