as a first gen, Asian female owned business owner that’s made millions, keep going and launch your product. Being a young woman owned in a male dominate space gives much more leverage. Just bc he has more connections and is more established doesn’t mean shit. Also him powerscaling brands is bc he see u as a threat. Someone secure in their brand does not do this. know anyone that partners with him will go through a similar faith. very manipulative and controlling and that breeds a terrible work environment. He will be his own demise, trust me.

Something about boba tea protein always gave me bad vibes and I was just about to give in because the protein I normally get changed their formula. Happy to support anything you do though have been sure to give Pon Pon a follow! Can't wait to support you when your products drop!

I loved the boba protein but honestly hearing your experience makes me not want to support it anymore. Esp w/ a brand that has a business owner who did all of this. When it comes to business yes there will always be competition but I think the bigger picture is to push products that creates great change for people’s lives. And his actions are just not right. I want to be a consumer of a business that supports other businesses & entrepreneurs. His brand values sounds like he just want la profit

It sounds like he was trying to slow you down to destroy your company to limit the amount of competition he would have. It’s funny because there are plenty of other protein powders that make the same thing as him…. He also seems to have wanted to slow you down so he can launch first….

This is so disappointing. I actually applied for their social media marketing role and am glad now that I didn’t get a response. Definitely dodged a bullet. As someone whose family owns a small business, i know the hardship that comes along with it. I wish you the best of luck with your company !!

I’ve worked with someone like him. At the end of the day he wants less competition, and working with you would give him less competition because he’d eventually just take over your brand.
