Kept :
My take on it is that there’s nothing wrong with wanting to win. But if you’re trying out a new character, I do believe that it’s better to go into AI since it gives you a feel for combos and how players MIGHT act which can give you a bit of experience. Then, you can go to QP to hone the skills a lot more. No one wants someone to sell on their team, which is why, if you have a bit more experience from AI, and then transfer it to QP, you won’t sell as often. I also think people don’t want the losses to be on their public profile. When you go to your account, it’ll have your matches played, and yhe games you’ve won. People more than likely want a win rate of over 50%, so that could also be why they take QP a bit too seriously. Yes, I understand that QP is meant to be casual fun, but there’s nothing wrong with wanting to win. If you’re playing a sport against a friend, I think you’d want to win, wouldn’t you? Sure, the game could just be for fun, but you’d want to at least win or have it be close.
