Awww.... So here's what I see... Jen is heading into depths of post pardum depression. Just like her mom did. BUT. She's got Greg who is already recognizing the possibility that she's maybe going through something, and is taking steps to make sure she's taken care of. She's got Greg's mom who is coming to help. She's got Shauna, who will be the supportive experienced parent who sits her down and let's her know "she's doing great" (iykyk). Jen will get the help and support that Barb never did, and be the mom that Barb didn't have the chance to be.

Hopefully, the difference between Barbs post partum story and Jens post partum story is that Greg is much more emotionally aware and able to help than Frank was. I think also that Barb is going to let something slip about her struggles and it will inadvertently help Jen feel like she is not that different than other moms with her feelings.
