As a parent, there’s nothing worse than watching your child suffer, feeling utterly powerless to take away their pain. Castiel just finished his fourth round of chemo, but between treatments, he’s battled three infections. Our days blur between the hospital and our home, which is hours away, and every moment is filled with exhaustion and fear. Chemotherapy is only the beginning, and the road ahead feels so long and uncertain. I almost didn’t want to share this video because it’s so hard to watch — seeing Castiel in pain, crying, desperate for us to fix something we can’t. But I want everyone who’s been following to understand the raw, heartbreaking reality we face every day. We are overwhelmed by the love and support from friends and family.
