Love Damien, but this argument falls apart the minute you remember that as kids we all had pokemon games that looked and ran great with interesting characters and stories. Also I can’t speak for everyone but as a kid I was still able to tell when something was shit

I disagree with the complaint about it thing because you can make a game for children or you can make a game for adults or you can make a game for zebras, but the audience chooses who it’s for if your audience is adults, you have a game made for adults

It being made for kids doesn’t excuse the fact it ran terribly and was buggy af on launch, also not having the gyms scale to ur level ruining the whole idea for the region and removing certain settings like switching to set battle style
