Twilight and X-men did him so dirty, he deserves to be respected.

I pity those people. They’re incapable of feeling and showing empathy, and I find that saddening.

The fact that the last time he played a superhero role, it was the most impossible to kill character in all of fiction and was killed off by a racist director.
I'm glad he got his redemption as Mr. Terrific

He was my favorite character in the whole film. I LOVE characters that promote using your head, & the fact he used that to uplift is beautiful. ppl are exhausting.

I wanted to be a scientist but the only thing people thought I was capable of anything but sports and preaching. I'm an independent amateur but I'm following my dream in my own way.
I love this
I have over 25,000+ hours over the past 5 years in STEM but people will still talk down to me on things they've never cracked open a book to understand. Especially to the degree I have.

Those people were raised to think that they are the center of the universe. Can't stand to see other people happy.

I can’t apologize for my people, well I don’t consider those my people really but it’s been bred into us. And then you’ve got tv and movies and preachers and teachers and politicians telling us this story about you. You know what I mean? And like when I was a kid there were all these commercials for feed the poor starving African babies, it was a charity thing. But in reality it was a manipulation. Africa is seen as trash really. You see what I mean though? We have all been manipulated and I’m not using that as an excuse either. What I am saying is there is a lot of undoing to do. A lot of rewiring of the brain and intentional deep introspection needed to break free.

As a Mexican American I loved the character Mr. Terrific. Representation is important. That’s why his character is so great. No stereotypes, just showing what we’re capable of. I’m looking forward to see more of Mr. Terrific.

hang on a sec homie I got something that's gone flip it all on its head check this out. maybe the reason they're so mad about all this stuff is cuz they know it's what they've been doing this whole time and they are projecting their own dirty selves into us expecting us to be doing the same to them

Even if he only said Black Kids WHAT THE HELL IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT?! Representation is a fantastic way to help children aspire to those heights. Mister Terrific is a Terrific role model and there is nothing wrong with him being a role model to black kids first. The movie is chock full of heroes of different ethnicities for various kids of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. So having a character meant to speak to a young black kid who might be worried they're too nerdy is a great thing! Racists I STG.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t Mr Terrific and John Stewart’s Green Lantern big trailblazers and inspirations for people of color to pursue college educations and embrace their intellectual abilities? Wasn’t that a big part of what made them popular? Because they broke the molds that some people put black people in media into? I could be WAY off base. I promise I’m not trying to be ignorant.
