“The nursing profession needs to learn to look in the mirror and say, ‘I am a nurse and my fee is…’” She was my psych prof, and argued just bc we’re a ‘helping’ profession doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to be paid, so we shouldn’t be ashamed to ask for what we’re worth ❤️

Not a nursing instructor, specifically, but when I almost failed microbio amid my pre-requisites, my professor told me that if I thought this class was hard, I’d never make it out of nursing school. I graduate in December 🥰🥰🥰🥰

When we learned about DIC in my maternal-child nursing class, our professor growled “death issss commmming” and to this day that plays in my head whenever DIC comes into play 😬
