Now I feel old. I tell my kids when I was their age I didn’t have a cell phone and call our parents from the mall via a pay phone but “collect” and say it really fast like, “we’re ready come pick us up” then when it wen my through hang up so they aren’t charged 🤣

50 cents a txt in the late 90s and you couldnt txt your friends on a different carrier. Dont even dream of calling at $2.99 a minute on peak or $1.39 off peak. If you had to, keep that sh*t under a minute!
