I had one that had a little switch under the cover that you could toggle to set it on a different frequency. Might be worth checking?

when my brother and i are both home we go back and forth turning on/off each others lights bc we have these same fans on the same frequency 💀 we have to coordinate w the remotes and the light switches

This happened for a hot sec w my roommate who was on the other side of the house as me. Eventually they replace the fan in the other room but I would just be like sitting there trying to fall asleep then all the sudden the lights were on 😂

This happened at an Airbnb I was at but when you turned the light off, the fan and light in the other room would turn on. It drove us crazy

In the remote & on the fan are little switches you can click to change the frequency. Make sure the remote & fan match if you change them.

Ha! I rented in 22’ and my now 9 year old refers to that apartment as “the haunted house” because of this very issue. You have to set the remotes to a different frequency… it’s like the cordless phones in the 90’s!!😂
