@xoepiphany: TW: DIET TALK. As someone who grew up in the 90s, heard how the media talked about Britney and actresses in the 2000s, LIVED THROUGH PURITY CULTURE, I used to have a disordered relationship with food and my body, and I’m not wecking it, my nervous system, or my hormones to reach some imaginary ideal for that day. I will share what I am doing to prep for that day and beyond. #2026bride #raleigh #weddingtiktok
I was already in a bad spot with my ED when i got engaged and by the time i got married, i looked sickly. My dress was too big. I regret it so much

It’s really refreshing to hear this. The last few of my girlfriends who have gotten married have almost looked sick bc of their crash diets leading up to the big day

Don’t diet. FEED YOUR BODY and move weight. 3x per week (or as much as you can manage) set a goal for “amount of weight moved” ex: *12,000 lbs and then do assorted LIGHT lifting exercises in circuits until you reach your goal. Your body will tone up ever so slightly (lean muscle mass) and you won’t kill yourself trying to “shrink”
