Just get your internet company to move the connection to a different aux plug in the home closer to his console or pc , that’s what I had to do

Absolutely not. My entire house has Ethernet because my husband is in IT, but for that exact reason it was run correctly and it is tidy 💅 He needs to buy a longer or make his own longer cable and run it along the wall. Just means a lil spackle when you move out if you're renting.
