Old east Dallas is a looney bin. Thankfully I’m renting, happy to be moving soon. I fell for the “look” of this area but have felt on edge the entire time. The people in this area are not well. As a woman you should not live here

this breaks my heart. I spent my 20's growing up here. my son lived his first years over here. we drive it often to see the memories. my friends are still there. this is terrible. I wish developers would stop seeing people homes as opportunities to ruin things.

I owned a house on victor and munger 20 years ago - I drove past it a few months ago and it seemed so run down. It’s always been a bit shady on the north side of munger. I hope you are right

O.M G.... This is called EAST DALLAS...OLD EAST DALLAS.... So y'all have kicked out old families in that neighborhood and started building expensive houses.... Not to say across the freeway it's horrible... you forgot to mention that area

I grew up there. We were there for about 25 yrs but had to leave. They began buying our neighborhood and building townhomes.

Yah…….the lovely developers running East Dallas & Old East Dallas. They see gorgeous old homes & mature trees and bulldoze it all & make everywhere unaffordable for the average person. Who cares if ppl can afford an apt or house. We normal ppl can just be homeless right?

Ma’am that area is unsafe. I used to live in Lakewood. I would drive through there all of the time. JL Long is near there. A 14 year old was killed in that area in broad daylight.
