Isn’t it on cash tips? So basically you need to report your cash tips?

Everything I’ve seen/heard is that it doesn’t apply for those of us that are self employed. I track my tips separately, always have, but with cash, there’s no way to prove what’s what. It’ll be a mess for sure.

The sad thing is they’re not taxing your tips of course because they’re going to make you pay at the end of the year when they add everything up in your income. They’re going to treat everyone as if they are 1099. Or self-employed. People just don’t know that it’s going to get worse them not taxing. Tips is gonna be worse off for the person who doesn’t understand how the real numbers work. They’re still gonna get their taxes. It’s just gonna be at the end of the year like it is with self-employed people and 1099 people. People are doing the math correctly.
