Injuries just happen- I did a leap I’d done over and over for 20+ years, landed wrong, and had a torn ligament in my foot that landed me in a boot and rehab for 12 weeks. Muscle memory just failed me that time!

I think the combo of that footwear on that flooring is so dangerous. If you think about kick lines the rockettes so so many kicks but the rate of injury is so much lower I feel like that has to be a factor

I've seen DCC do jump splits on concrete for special performances and that's CRAZY

I don’t think the jump splits are anything but dangerous. My high school coach refuse to let us do them and I’m glad.
