This happened to me too! My body was covered in huge raised red patches and I was in excruciating pain. I had to ween onto Allegra just to get off of it.

I had to stop taking my allergy meds for a week to do the allergy shots test. I was so itchy. like the whole time. thought I was just being allergic to stuff 🙃

It's absolutely much higher than that. I think most people, like me, just assume that we're allergic to everything and don't do anything about it.
