Hey Tucson could really use your help right now! Representatives are trying to pass Project Blue which will approve the building of 3 AI DATA CENTERS in our desert that will destroy our eco system, drain our water- including the Santa Cruz river, will use more power than all of Tucson combined daily, will take around 5 million gallons of water per data center (and there’s 3 planning on being built, so roughly 15 million gallons) DAILY, and will SIGNIFICANTLY increase our utility bills. It’ll also make Tucson HOTTER. There’s a petition that would be amazing if you could sign. As well as some resources I’m going to share if you could please do what you can, by sharing this information and these resources, by signing the petition, by attending meetings if possible or even just sending some emails to our representatives or calling explaining that we do not want an AI center in our desert. Id really appreciate any help, we NEED to protect our desert from corporate greed.
