I once went to kbbq with my coworkers and one person was so grossed out by the raw meat that ‘you have to cook yourself??’ And ‘what is that? Brain???’ (Pork cheek) that she wouldn’t eat. I was so embarrassed for her. Cause the rest of us were feasting

Saying it’s your first time restaurant is very different from being grown and saying I don’t know how or understand but if my go to is “what do you suggest, or what Ellie your grandma give me if I showed uo for dinner. I always eat well. A crumb of respect goes a long way

Meat had no flavor? I went to a Korean BBQ and ALL the meat provided was already MARINATED and ready to cook. It was AMAZING. Ma’am other races season with MORE THAN JUST SALT AND PEPPER. LOOK IT UP ITS A REAL THING. 🙄🤣

This is why TRAVEL AND EDUCATION is so important! As a bw in the US it’s so infuriating when you meet yt ppl who are so IGNORANT yet their noses are in the air! You can always tell the uneducated & those who have never been exposed to other cultures! This country is so sad man

First time going to a k hot pot was in Texas and the lady there taught us how to choose the food and mix sauces that were offered. I loved it! My daughter and granddaughter loved it. So returning to Michigan we try to go at least once a month. Kbbq is next! 🤩🤩🤩

I did hot pot in Italy and the workers were so nice and made me 3 different dipping sauces and each was amazing. I had no clue what I was doing but it’s food, it’s not hard.
