The government should be funded by a healthy VAT now. Only property owners were originally allowed to vote. Once they let everyone vote, the property taxes should have been abolished.

Neptune really should not have a deficit. Property taxes across the town have doubled over the last few years with the increase in property values.

If free pre k is unfunded, why not just cancel it? Why force the tax payers to pay for pre k? Pre K is basically babysitting, let's be honest.

What worst is that people will continues to vote for same mayors and reps even after they get taxed more and more. That’s why you move out of NJ and let it die.

Of course, free pre school. The government has been destroying the family unit since the 60’s. Look at the change in tv programs, music, films, feminism and homosexual movements. My Neptune taxes went up 45% in 2 years. ‘You will own nothing..” and to top it off, the education level is terrible. Do you know what letter our schools are rated?
