Ask lang po sa mga makakasagot here. Not related to unemployment but related to SSS. So my papa just died last last sunday and then his siblings decided to keep all of my dad’s documents included the IDs. And my older sister asked them for it because it should be on us and they don’t have the right to keep it. After my dads burial a day after it my older sister asked it to them but they refused to give it back to my sister. Then yung tita ko po na gumastos sa lahat ng naging expense ng papa ko sa hospital and burial told my ate po na sila na daw bahala mag asikaso ng SSS ng papa ko. To be clarify po kami po magkakapatid wala po kaming pakealam kung may makukuha po kami as beneficial ng papa namin pero gusto lang namin makuha lahat ng documents ng papa ko esp the death certificate kase we will be needing it pag ikakasal na kami. Again wala kami pakealam sa makukuha namin as beneficial kami ni papa. Yung ate ko po asked them na ano raw gagawin nya para magawa nya na dapat gawin kasi kukunin nya yung mga docs ng papa ko. Even yung sa dapat makukuha namin sa burial ng papa ko di na namin kinuha kasi alam naman namin di rin namin makukuha yun kase nga kukunin lang din ng kapatid ng papa ko na gumastos sa lahat. So my ate asked what she has to do so she could get the docs na daw and my aunt just told my ate na wala daw syang makukuha dun sa burial ng papa ko kasi 25k lang yun and hindi pa nangangalahati sa 400k na nagastos nya sa papa ko. My ate told them na wala naman syang balak kunin pa yun gusto nya lang makuha na mga docs ni papa para maka uwi na ulit. But they refused and told my ate na mag uusap nalang daw sila ng masinsinan and they also told my sister na yung sa SSS daw ng papa ko kami daw dalawa ng ate ko which is 21 above years old na wala dawng makukuhang benefits sa SSS ng papa ko only my younger sister lang daw na 19 years old. Sinabihan sila ng ate ko walang problema ma aasikaso naman sa future yon kung di pa maaasikaso okay lang kung yung bunso lang namin makakatanggap kasi may anak na yung bunso namin pero ayaw parin ibigay yung mga docs ng papa ko kaya di maka alis alis si ate. I used to handle this program. Please note that separation must be involutary-AUTHORIZED CAUSES such as retcrenchement etc. And it must be reported by your employer to DOLE for DOLE to certify your application

It’s true. Just like what happened to my account last April and the work ended May 30th the client pulled out for some reason and we were given the choice to reprofile or just receive the severance but ofc as a person na nagwork at the very young age. I chose to just rest for a bit and receive my pay. You will be receiving the last pay, severance pay and the pro rated pay(vacation leave, sickleave) and you also need to process the “Unemployment Benefits” online sa sss which I’m doing right now. Really helps a lot. Be mindful that you need to finish the given period of time para mo makuha yan and also I had been contributing sa sss for a total of 37 months which is pasok sa qualifications. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

i hate to admit it, but our prof in comben/payroll did a good job of teaching us this, the real life things/scenarios na ma-eencounter namin kapag nag work na kami esp yung about sa taxes, benefits, rights, and suchs ng employees or employers; he didn't follow our course curriculum para lang dyan

I believe the terms are correct regarding the 50% AMSC, but the amount you’ll get isn’t technically ₱40k. SSS imposes a cap on the salary credit, so even if you earn more than ₱50k, the benefit usually maxes out around ₱19.6k. So with that the actual amount is much lower than your monthly salary.😊
