@junglekeeper: MAYDAY. I need help. Things have never been more dire in the jungle. After Sunday’s post people gave been asking what is happening. Well here it is. The great wilderness I used to explore is now being destroyed. The new roads are set to rip the reserve we are trying to create in half — and destroy the wildest place on earth. I need help guys. Here’s the deal: • For the last 20 years I have worked with indigenous leaders (like JJ) to save this forest, for that we formed Junglekeelers • Junglekeepers protects over 117,000 acres of jungle packed with tens of millions of plants and animals. We keep the forest safe. • We are 1/3 of the way to protecting 300,000 acres and creating a national park that would save the forest, the river, the animals and the tribes. (We CAN do this!!) • If this road comes through we lose everything. The project dies. A great jungle turned to ashes. We have 50,000 acres we can protect tomorrow if we had the funding.
