Glucagon & fluids. Would push dose epi/neo be beneficial here?

secure airway, fluids, d50, Levo. Transcutaneous pacing as needed until cath lab places transvenous, supportive cares until the metoprolol clears.

As EMS, with vitals like that and a glucose low (I can’t do labs or temp in the field) I’m pacing him, 15 L/min by NRB or intubate/IGEL if they can’t protect the airway and hanging D10

ABCs secure the airway and breathing, followed by circulation. That being Epi drip. Yes glucagon is the treatment, but let’s be honest we can just manage the symptoms and work with that.

You can try high dose glucagon , insulin drip and dextrose to bring that sugar up for the insulin drip and IVF as tolerated
Fluids, Epi, dextrose. Possible transcutaneous pacing.

epi to manage BP, should also fix HR. glucagon is probably not worth it unless you have 5+mg for the push, plus the drip. replete the sugar too, esp in anticipation of the boatloads of insulin he's about to get.

I always tell new grads beta blocker ODs are sneaky! I lost a pt well over 48 hours after he had taken the pills. Was moved to a hold pod in the ER and coded.

Beta Blocker OD, treat with 20ml/kg fluid bolus to increase preload/BP, Glucagon to counteract beta 1 blockade, intubation (if unable to protect airway), and epi/dopamine drip to increase chronotropy

liter of fluid. 1g atropine, start levophed. if it doesn't work I'll give glucagon and start a d5 drip w insulin

D10 drip drip bolus a unit per kg of insulin. Reverse beta blocker toxicity.

Is he symptomatic? Two liters of LR, amp of D50, maybe some atropine to start.
