This Is Not a Coincidence Sometimes, what seems bad is actually God’s protection. At times, God allows a “bad” thing to happen to prevent a greater tragedy. I once heard a story: A king lost a finger in an accident. He was furious and couldn’t understand why it had happened. His servant said, “Perhaps this is God’s will.” This only angered the king more—he threw the servant into prison. Months later, while hunting, the king was captured by a tribe of barbarians. They intended to sacrifice him alive to their god. But when they saw that he was missing a finger, they released him— because an “incomplete” body was unfit for sacrifice. That missing finger saved his life. When the king returned, he released his servant and said with shame, “You were right—it was God’s protection. But why did He let you be imprisoned too?” The servant smiled and said, “If I hadn’t been locked up, I would have gone hunting with you. And since I’m unharmed, I might have been the one sacrificed.” This story reminded me: Sometimes your prayer goes unanswered, plans get delayed, or things fall apart— not because God didn’t hear, but because He is protecting you in ways you can’t yet see. As Scripture says: “All things work together for good to them that love God.” (Romans 8:28) So if you’re in a season of confusion, delay, or loss, don’t be quick to blame God. You don’t know what He just saved you from. If today’s message has inspired you, remember to share it with the first person God places on your heart. #UKBelievers #ChristianUK #ChristianLife #LondonTikTok #bibleinreallife
