We have a Red 17 year old min pin, he'll be 18 next month. He's had a handful of rough patches this year with walking. He fell off the people bed and we thought it was over, he didn't walk for hours but came back. He's a fighter. If he scratches too much he can't walk for a day. 💔 We tried wheels and he didn't like them. stubborn doggie. We love our old man. It's currently almost 10pm and he's roaming the nursing home halls is what we call it. 💔

My Shakka was 18.5 when he was ready. He let me know by whining. I took him to the Vet and had an apsis in his mouth. They said they could keep him alive for a little long with antibiotics. But, he got on the Vets table and just layed down. 💔💔

I know you’re a great dog dad cuz I’ve watched for a while. We are in Jax too and have old dogs. Be very aware of hawks in the area. We don’t leave ours outside alone.

We went though this with our Buddy. He developed massive tumor on his rear leg.. it was aggressive. I hated to see him struggle. Letting him go was the hardest decision. I miss him daily.

Oh Piper, it's ok precious, Daddy has your back always!! I can't wait to see your new wheels!! 😍 The fighter you are I know you'll be zooming around in no time. This was happening to my Jack at the end. We would have to hold him up to go potty everytime. I thought of him the minute I saw this.
