From gamefreak they said if they make a design of a Pokémon and if it looks like fanart from a person they have to scrap it because they don’t want to seem like they are plagiarizing an artists work and this was made true during scarlet and Violet there was drama that scovilan the fire and grass type pepper Pokémon that was thought to be stolen art and the community was mad about it. So the more fakemon artists do the less likely they’ll go down that route of designs to avoid issues.

People blaming fans when they are being fans it’s not their fault game freak is slow maybe if they did something like digimon and just released designs to the public instead of waiting for a game this wouldn’t be a problem

people making fanart its why they end up with designs people may not expect. pokemon just don't want to make something that has already been created. its cool having fanarts of the pokemon, but apparently if pokemon see something to similar to what they wanted in the internet, they decide to change the design 🤔
