Consider Zorin OS. Excellent for ex Windows users as no command line needed and can be configured to look like Windows. My parents didn't even notice the difference!

If you're going to try a bunch, I suggest adding Bluefin to the list. It's interesting. It updates entirely in the background, like ChromeOS. All apps are containerized by installing them via Flatpak for GUI apps, and Homebrew for CLI apps. If you need a traditional package, you have a GUI Distrobox front end called BoxBuddy. All Bluefin users are running the exact same image, which makes it easy for the distro maintainers to update or troubleshoot. Because it's immutable, your in-use system files never get modified. When updates happen, they happen to a separate image in the background and don't become live until a reboot. If there is an issue, you can boot back into your previous stable environment. You are ensured to always have a working environment. It's based on Fedora Silverblue, and takes user friendliness to the next level.

I was all about Ubuntu and Linux Mint for the first 6 months I was learning...then I tried Arch Linux and realized the amount of customization I'd been missing out on. not for a beginner though, so please stick to Ubuntu when first starting out.
