This mindset and I promise its a game changer. My hubs and I live in a small 2 bed 2 bath house. Paid off vehicles. 2008 Toyota Tundra 2018 Honda CRV...no chasing new cars bigger house. He just inherited a lot from his dad and no extravagant purchases, just quiet peaceful comfort and the inheritance will insure we can live our peaceful life through our elder years. Chase peace not money.

This!! People ask why we lived in an old small home or basic vehicle even though we could “afford” more.its because I want to be a sahm,we want to b able to let our kids do extra curriculars they want,we want to be able to help others if needed,and just not be stressed about making ends meet.no material things are better than the daily peace of mind knowing we’re good if job loss or something major happens

he can laugh at 8k. my fiance wrecked her cat so I had to sell my sport bike and go almost into all our saving just to buy a used Nissan rouge mom car for 10k that the engine light turned on 5 miles after. id prolly end it if that 10k just disappeared again. it took me so long to even get it to be saving lol.
