I have an almost an identical story but it's only my second so.... no excuses.... but weeks ago I realized he has no idea what a cow says... I'm an infant toddler preschool teacher, but this guy, my second born, no idea... trucks are his thing so maybe... but no.... where have we gone wrong?!

The main purpose of zoos is to cultivate a love and understanding of animals so that people want to take care of them and our resources! Also they work hard to support their natural habitats around the world and growth of endangered species! Just another perspective about zoos!!

Early Childhood Educator here to confirm that if she doesn’t have her animal sounds down by age 3, she will never be admitted into a top tier university 😂🤦🏻♀️Please don’t sweat it… it’s far more impressive that she can say peekaboo, and made that association on her own, then being able to roar or say moo. 😍

Accredited zoos are an important part of conservation. The animals are born in zoos and wouldn't survive in the wild. Good zoos do a lot of enrichment and have good space for them.

Theres a difference between private zoos and AZA accredited zoos! Zoos are huge contributors for wildlife conservation, education, and so much more!

So our youngest was in kindergarten when Covid was full swing. She’s in the gifted program now but it’s been - we’ll say - interesting as the teachers they have taught these kids at these age groups for years are like - these are way different kids
