This is sooo true! My husband gets very hurt if our sons (28 & 30) don't agree with him or if they offer other opinions. We raised them to be their own people and we need to let them do that ❤

I agree with this, we just want everything to be the best for them in our view which sometimes isn’t their best or even their aspiration. As long as they’re not seriously harming themselves or others, we have to accept the adult they’ve become. The penny dropped for me on this one a while ago.

I’m a parent of teenagers and taking this approach. 💯 Sometimes I just have to remember the issue isn’t worth me teaching the lesson.

Read one book if you’re a parent, I think kids should read it too, but if your parent Zan and the art of motorcycle maintenance, it will make you think differently because he will understand that your perspective is not the same as their perspective because of experience in life as my inside of the day
