My family gifted me and my cousin a cruise four our bdays. I was about to turn 15, and my cousin 10+ older; She just told me to be careful, and not to go into anyone’s room. I spend time with 2 more kids that day, and we were alone (mind u I was the oldest one w 14, they were like 12 or 11); Back then I was into true crime videos, and used to watch them daily but never seen this case before. However months after the cruise, this case popped up on my feed on YouTube, I watched it, and I felt so weird and I realized where she was and what happened. I felt really disturbed cause I remembered that I was alone most of the time even if I spend time w/ other kids, I basically didn’t have any adult supervision. Ofc nobody would think this could happen, I mean you’re in the middle of nowhere… But rn I just know I was really lucky that nothing happened to me, or anyone else (I hope so). Be safe guys, and be always!! Aware of your surroundings 🙏✨

I don’t think many realize trafficking isn’t just gun to your head sell you for Cex work… it’s also your buddy you trust getting you drunk / high and letting his buddy’s have at you, it’s also the person to sweet talk you into a life style with promises, it’s also guilting you to the point of no return from shame… the list can go on for MANY ways women, men and children are trafficked. Ny cousins don’t realize they were too once trafficked by friends, who would call them up to get pretty for a night out, just to be used for their looks for their friends own personal gains (alcohol, rides, money, smokes, a hotel etc…) the men their friends would meet in dating sites and sending photos of my cousins showing what they look like so these guys would hang out with their friends… very sad and very unfortunate about Amy, I am sure he sweet talked her into something off the boat and took advantage of her in ways she’s didn’t anticipate. 💔💔💔

I was almost trafficked once. Guys with guns tried kidnapping me one night while I was picking a friend up from work. Police didn’t really do anything since I fought them off and escaped, but my car was tagged so they knew what was up. Still messed up from it today and the documentary had me very emotional. It’s not taken seriously enough and too many people who can do something about it benefit from it too much to stop it

My theory is, she met yellow and had fun, he said he could get drugs in curaçao and convives him to go with him, maybe went out as an employee and did not have all the security filters as the passengers. Once they en interes the traffikers they decided to keep her.

And to answer the question why she didn't come home, Did you ever see someone who has been drugged and abused for years in a foreign country? The light is gone in those people💔

I think the guy who was in the military might’ve bought her instead of “getting beer.” Because it’s crazy how he went ALONE to an ILLEGAL(?) bar(?) for just a beer. It’s also weird how the two girls (amy and the other girl.) came out and sat WITH him when they could’ve sat somewhere else?? And I saw that he wouldn’t have been kicked or low ranked for going out. I think he just didn’t wanna say anything because he KNEW it was wrong, and he switched up his story to act innocent.

this case made me rethink my cruise trip next year. a lot of people forget as soon as you touch those international waters you’re basically fcked. but she’s definitely trafficked and i guarantee the kidnappers are some crazy high power in that area because if multiple tourists have seen her, the people that live there have to see her on occasion. and there were lots of people from that area looking at that website so they know her face and story plus the kidnappers she’s with

I think she was trafficked if you watch yellow took her up the elevator where somebody was which therefore it’s planned between 3 people the noises from the old guy was distract anything happening or movement around the ship and his fast pace

She was trafficked/kidnapped out of the ship. The bassist is involved one way or another. She fought to survive for a while but I have a feeling she's not around anymore, and the one who keeps visiting the website on those special dates is not actually her but her child.

It feels like the staff was all in on it. It was so weird to me that they kept giving her attention and taking her pictures. I’m sure it’s normal, but if your family made a joke about it that means the staff was giving her tooooo much attention more than normal. The fact that they asked for the master tape too 😖!
