This happened to me after c-section. Still please watch for symptoms even after d&c. I had a d&c and they still missed it because at that point the fragment of retained placenta was embedded. Advocated like heck and they did another ultrasound months later & then another surgery after because by then it looked like an “unknown mass” via ultrasound. It was embedded in the uterine wall that’s why the d&c didn’t get it first surgery. Path came back as retained placenta/products of conception. But I almost went septic, no one would listen to me. Your gut is never wrong sis. Hang in there. ❤️

I had to have a d and c after six week check up because I was still bleeding and cramping. I had retained placenta too 🫠

Yes I had extreme pain my whole pregnancy then after got ignored 2month pp was admitted they estimated I would of died in 2 days due to gallstones making my liver fail. They said I looked like I had been in a 3 day drinking binge and I don’t drink! Always push only we truly know our bodies

I’m so sorry. This happened with a miscarriage that I had. I was so happy not to have to have the d and c and then I just never got better or stopped clotting. I got septic and had to have an emergency d and c that same day. Again

I have a now 3 month old and I thought the same thing happened to me. Only it was my appendix that ruptured. Head down and power through mom.

This is crazy! Literally happened to me 2 weeks ago- crazy cramping and boom a ton of clots, and happened the next night same thing. Went in for them to check (did not ultrasound me on 3 weeks pp) they just checked me and got some clots out.. but did an ultrasound today (6 weeks postpartum ) and found a huge clot 🙁
